Pac fought David Diaz in June 2008. Diego Corrales died May 2007. Are you saying Pac should have fought Diego's corpse instead of David Diaz? :think

That's the stupidest post I read from a hater.
Fight night weight don't matter? A much better indication of a fighter's natural weight is his division?
Simply because JMM and EM wasn't able to duplicate his feat, it should already be PED's?

    One word: moron.

someone will do what Manny has done-yes. He is a good fighter, but he has come along at the right time and fought guy at weight agreements who fought good styles for him and he was faster than all of them.

If that was the case why fight at a catchweight? Why not fight at the limit and avoid any controversy. Because it gave pac an advantage.

It did not create an advantage.
    It levelled the playing field.
Do note that unlike ODLH, Cotto was a solid WW, HAD NO PROBLEMS MAKING 145, while Pac, one who was still blindly looking for his upper limit in weight, was unproven at the weight class.
Also, be reminded THAT NOBODY cared about the weight stipulations and the general consensus at the time was it was the fair thing to do and Pac will get brutalized by Cotto as soon as the first hook connects.

And we were all shocked by the greatness that is now Pacquaio.

Believe me I am a fan of both Cotto and Pacquiao and I thought it was the end of Pac's career.
But make no mistake about it though, Pac did get hurt bad during the fight. We just all previously thought he wasn't that tough, ergo the shock.

You must be a PED expert Divac, you seems so sure. Unfortunately, your post does not sound technical to me, mostly your opinion. Maybe you can include medical articles to bolster your claims instead of conjectures, that should stfu the rest of the posters. Just let me get this straight, if PAC fights underrated, washed up, old and over prime fighters, why do you keep suspecting him of PEDS? Just doesn't make sense.

I guess if you use PED's you will develop an amazing right hook and chin too ?

How about what is known to be common knowledge about Manny that he is one of the hardest workers in the gym ? No it's PEDS - dumb

Pac is the greatest we have. Anything else is not hate but stupidity. Just at look at the threads of how Pac was supposed to get murdered by the bigger guys before he actually made the move up.

Fair to say the neigh-sayers have the wrong read on Manny Pacquiao and the PED b.s. only puts them farther off course to gauge him all time.

It's possible, but it's a tough task. Specially if you're talking about a guy coming up from the flyweight range to welterweight range to do it. The fashion that he did it in, was just beyond my expectations.

All you have to do is look at all the fantasy match-up, between Hatton, Cotto, or anyone he's fought, before 2008 to see a better perspective.

Enjoy it, he's a once in a lifetime fighter.
