Do you know what almost all of the men on here have in common they won bogus titles and didn't fight the best when they won the title. You see guys who want to put Manny's accomplishments in ATG status are the same type of guys who thought SRL won the real Light Heavyweight title.

They are the type of guys that don't read the small print, want to ignore the facts.

8 - Manny Pacquiao (112, 122, 126, 130, 135, 140, 147, 154) - Pac's only legit titles are at 112, 126, and 140. His resume at 147 is solid though. Those are the facts. At 130 he was simply facing the same feathers that moved up with him.

Let me do DLH just for fun.

6 - Oscar DeLa Hoya (130, 135, 140, 147, 154, 160) - DLH NEVER won the lineal ANYTHING at any weight, and he fought the weakest champs in the following divisions: 130, 135, and 140. At 154 he only defeated one highly ranked non euro bum and that was Vargas (solid win). He actually lost his fight with Sturm, but again Sturm was and is NOTHING!

**** it, lets do PBF too

5 - Floyd Mayweather Jr. (130, 135, 140, 147, 154) - Floyd only fought the top guy in two of these classes: 130 & 135. At 147 he face highly ranked Mosley but styles make fights so his decision to bypass the Cotto's, Margo's, Clottey's hurt his cause. Floyd's claims to titles is as thin as they come.

These guys playing the title game in the Modern era have one thing in common, most picked on the weakest guy. These guys should NOT be praised for this. These are no SRR or Armstrong's!

Of course it can be done. Morales arguably won titles in two weight division AFTER people considered him shot. Titles are very overrated. Anyone can win a title it seems.

It should have been more impressive if he did not skip 115 and 118, instead of jumping straight to 122 from 112.

Imagine that would be a total of 10 divisions, even if he wins a WBO or an equivaklent lesser belt in those divisions.

    pretty simple eh?

so, why cant other people do it?

    go figure!

it's pretty sad idiots like this can easily dismiss what pacquiao achieved. they can explain how easy it is in a few sentences, but the funny part is nobody ****ING DID IT!

His titles at 147 and 154 are not valid to me. I don't know how you can win belts at a weightclass when neither fighter is at that weight. Manny is a great fighter, but people act like what he's done cannot be duplicated. The guy had no amateur career, so started earlier than most and lighter than most as a professional. There are a handful of fighters who won titles in several weightclasses who if they had bypassed an amateur career, might have accomplished the same thing.

He beat and excellent drained "WW' in Cotto, how can you win a 147 lbs belt making a guy come down to 143 lbs, same with Marg (he wasn't even the Champ or the best available at that weight) there should b an asterisk next to those belts.
PS. The 135 belt he fought the weakest link in the division, there were Casamayor (Ring Belt holder at the time), Corrales, Castillo, but not he chose Diaz, cherry picking? You bet your a$$!

I think donaire at this point hasa good chance of producing a similair run, the guy is very talented, he is tall, already has 3 division belts on his resume, I dont know if he will actually beat pacs record, but he can definitely do amazing things up to 130 I think.

Okay, so how come marquez hasnt fought clottey, cotto, or margo if he was so lucky? What about mayweather? If pac was so lucky beating crappy comp why did mayeather avoid all of them? Dude you are the biggest hater, paper titles please. I'll give you 154 title, but the rest was the best competeition that floyd avoided. The only perspective i see is that your hater or dont know **** about boxing. Let me know when marquez fights old mosley, come on he should be an easy fight for marquez right since he's old.

No... and Hell No.. It don't got **** to do with titles or wins, losses. It matters about going up in weight and being competitive against the best in that division...

I dont see no guys coming through the ranks and consistently battering their foes like they never moved up a divison..
