Which 2010's fighters could compete TODAY with turn-of-the-century training?

    I Agree, HOWEVER, the times back then were tougher. The mundane tasks of life made one break a sweat.

    Modern boxers do not train or fight in the hot outdoors, or non-air conditioned arena's

    The times demanded a different type of stamina, and the gloves weren't nearly as protective for the hands. An injury back then could damage a career.

    And they often fought past 15 rounds.

    The training these days is for muscle explosion, not stamina.

    Which boxers today would do well at the turn of the century assuming they used the training techniques of the times? The real tough ones and well conditioned ones.
