Which three welterweights from whatever eras have the most realistic chances of defeating Sugar Ray Robinson at 147lbs? 15rds.

    Hearns
Greb (if he moved down to 147)
Floyd - his defense isn't appreciated, he has a chin. But it is what it is., I guess he brought it on himself.

Hearns is one of best of all time, but I don't think he matches up well with SRR. Looking at film, they look sort of similar to me, with the difference that SRR looks better and was clearly more durable. So it would basically be SRR against a lesser version of himself.

Leonard is a better bet. I lot of people will not agree with me, but I think he looks faster than SRR. Maybe he could outbox him for a bit. But SRR has to much of everything else, and he won't be broken down like Hearns was. I think he would catch up to Leonard and punish him. Leonard could survive but he would have to use his feet and run.

Napoles is extremly underrated, a true ring magician. But maybe he was a bit on the small side? SRR was a huge welter.

Its hard to say with a man that has never been beaten at the weight. I really know to little to answer this. What styles gave him the most trouble?

I think Hearns would be interesting because Robinson had a fighter's mentality...Sugar Ray Leonard stayed away from Hearns at the beginning of their fight, due to Hearns' power...Robinson probably wouldn't, and it could have been explosive. I'm not saying saying Hearns would win...but I think he had the power to hurt anyone at welter.
I think Sugar Ray Leonard was a complete fighter at welter, and 2nd best there in history...Consequently he gives Robinson one helluva fight.
I'll give you two more...Walker would not be intimidated and would tear right into Robinson with a sneer on his face, and make for a great fight.
Charley Burley would have given anyone trouble...and is capable of beating anyone at the weight, would be my guess anyway.
Addendum: My main pick would be Leonard. Around the time frame of the first Hearns fight.

Someone before mentioned the Duran that beat SRL. Guess he would have to at least be considered. Hearn's would be the first one I'd pick, not sure who'd be second. SRL, Walker, Burley, Duran, Curry, Benitez

(I don't see Floyd having the power necessary to win against SRR but he may have the boxing skills)

    Hearn's
    SRL
    Walker

Ray Leonard and Hearns, for sure. After that it's difficult, especially because I haven't seen much of Robinson at welterweight. Hard for me to picture anyone at 147 outslugging him so I'd probably go with the possibility of Mayweather outthinking him (Whitaker and Benitez would be my other dark horse picks).

    What about Marty Servo?

Some people actually thought he did beat a prime 147lb Sugar Ray Leonard, including at least one judge. Is he the best chance of a repeat, he certainly has a record against prime welter Robinson which is as good or better than I would predict most, if not all other fighters to ever go against argubably the greatest fighter ever.
