Leonard, Hearns, and the Montreal version of Duran. Or possibly Napoles.

Whoever listed Donald Curry.... NO. I think very well highly of Curry, but he simply didn't have the punch resistance to deal with Robinson's power.

In order, Leonard,Hearns,Duran of Montreal, Napoles, ( but he cut so easy). Benitez is SRR had an off night. Floyd, if SRR is being lazy..... Other than that.... No one that Ive actually seen fight

I think Hearns has the best chance with Robbie, after that Leonard and Curry.
Robinson was supposed to have been stymied by one Henry Brimm who was about the same height.
I don't think Palomino beats Robinson but he would last the distance.

Leonard, Hearns, Napoles and Mayweather would beat SRR. Honestly.
Napoles is a little more questionable.

I can't see Hearns taking Robinson's best punches, so I am surprised so many people are picking him.

True, but could Robinson take Hearn's best shots. While he lasts,A prime Hearns is very dangerous to any fighter.Hagler knew this, that's why he smothered The Hit Man's punches by turning it
into a street fight. A shame a rematch never happened.

Hearns was amazing but not durable enough to beat Robinson imo

    My 3 would be
    Griffith
    Leonard
    Burley

Although really I dont favor any welterweight over 147 Robinson, I have him as my No.1 Welterweight list wise and H2H

Leonard, Hearns, MAYBE Duran of Montreal. Possibly a in shape and serious Benitez. Other than those (4), everyone else has a serious flaw. Napoles, cut to easy, Curry ,excellent fighter but really wasn't resilient. Mayweather jr. too small, everyone else please......

Leonard for sure .. Tito Trinidad with his size and killer power would be a hell of a fight at 147 .. Vernon Forrest would be a tough stylistic match up ..

Hearns lacked the chin and the stamina to go against Ray R ..

Noted and....dismissed. Another poster that ignores era differences. Ray fought once a month for 10 frigging years!
    Next.
To be fair (eras considered) if some beat the ATG (close decision for sure) they would get their **** handed to them in the rematch.
RAY ROBINSON! The greatest fighter that EVER lived!!!!!

You want to match a 46 Ray Leonard against a 80 Ray Robinson?
The ATG would kick his **** on principles alone, for stealing his name.

Leonard and Hearns would have had a chance. I'd favor Robinson in both fights, but I give those two the best shot to pull it off.

Not really passionate about a 3rd pick.

I did not mean Ray L beats him for sure .. I meant he would be one of my three selections for best shot ..
