Outside of a roided DC vs a clean Jones, for me it would have to be

    Romero vs Bisping

If DC comes back, i'd love to see him back up at HW taking on Stipe. If the weight wasnt a problem for DC and he still has it in him for one last push, that would be a phenomenal fight. Stipe is a level above the rest, but DC is a very special fighter

Romero vs Rockhold would be another phenomenal fight between two gifted monsters

Romero vs Anderson i would love to see

Throw in Palhares vs Bisping for shits and giggles

So that would be my 5....

    Romero vs Bisping
    Romero vs Anderson
    Romero vs Rockhold
    Cormier vs Miocic
    Palhares vs Bisping

    What about you guys?

How do you see these two playing out? (assuming it's healthy sea level Cain and a fully recovered Whittaker)

Miocic KO. I think he's the wrestling and work rate to hang with him, but the superior hands.

This one I'm a bit iffy about. Whittakers best chance is to KO him early, and he's got a great shot considering Rockholds defensive and chin liabilties. Otherwise Rockhold WILL get him down at some point. Whittaker is Cro Cop esque in his ability to sprawl and avoid wrestling takedowns, but Rockhold utilizes a lot of body lock takedowns against the cage and he's physically stronger... Not to mention he has superior BJJ to Romero. When he gets you down... You're getting roughed up and stopped with ground and pound. It's not a matter of IF, but when.

Rockhold sure is a monster when he gets on top of you. Felt very bad for Chris who's extreme courage and chin meant he took horrible punishment

It's why i'd love to Luke vs Romero. Both are hugely strong with devastating GnP. Who's face would be the one getting smashed into the canvas?

This is what I want to see -

UFC champions fighting the top contenders 2 to 3 times a year to prove that they are indeed the best in the division. No more BS money fights, rematches etc etc. Get back to what made the ufc great and stop the slippery slope they are going down in turning the UFC into boxing with champions ducking, multiple belts per weight class and undeserved title shots.

Gus is an awesome fighter and guy, but Rumble is a stylistic nightmare

Gus vs a clean "no cohones" Jones would be the match up every Gus fan would want to see, and the one Gus deserved years ago

(lts almost exactly to the day 4 years ago they first fought)

Yeah but the Jones ship has sailed and it would say a lot if Gus could avenge that loss to Johnson considering the match up issues you elluded to and the fact that he is not mandated to go anywhere near him.

No love for Douglas Lima vs Rory Mac? Arguably the 2 best WWs in the world today, Macdonald has wins vs the current top 2 UFC WWs and Lima looked sensational last time out against Larkin. That fight will be absolute fireworks, and it sure beats watching Woodley play pattycake with opponents for 25 minutes.
