    Going by their hardest-shots.
then- Manny's straight-left. End of question. I'm sorry.

    then Mosley.
then Valero (he may well hit hardest but I'll only believe once I see him vs. some good 140 & 147 pounders... esp. Mexicans with good chins!).

JML has a very good case... equal with Mosley if by p4p power we go by average power of every shot thrown! (however is that due more to how big he is compared to who he fights in his division? ...and this devastating impact would lessen as he moves up the weights? who knows at the moment...? not any of us).

    close top3. But that's what I think.

Mosley even knocking Margarito down was HUGE... nevermind finishing him off, even if by stoppage rather than strictly KO. Say what you will about his wraps, but imo.. Margarito has always had one of the best chins in the sport -- just ask Cintron, who hits bloody hard with his right yet Margarito just ate that right hand all night in the first fight & smiled! (and THAT is why Cintron broke down crying... he gave his best.. he threw everything he had.. the kitchen sink and the pipe connecting it to main local sewage system... yet even then he couldn't take out Margarito!)

Arthur Abraham did when he was at 160. At 168 its hard to say.

Donaire's power for a 112lb guy is unreal as well. Almost unfair.

Guys voting Pacquiao aren't making much sense.

as i said -- single hardest shot... then I'm going with Pacquiao's straight-left.
Long been the p4p hardest hit in boxing in my opinion!

with Donaire... i'll want to see how ppl higher up in weight, once he moves up, react! JML is similarly too powerful (and indeed big) for everyone he's met so far at his weight. Be interesting to see how Caballero tries to counter-act JML's mass-size with his advantages in length (height & reach).

    ---

also, idk how you ppl look upon bodyshots.
But Hatton & Cotto left-hooks to the body deserve honourable mentions atleast!

Pac knocking out Morales and Hatton is far better indicator of power then AA going the rounds with china chin cokehead Shannan Taylor or labouring for 12 rounds to put away Elvin Ayala.

No doubt Manny can hit..and is one of the hardest punchers in the world.

PAc punches is hard-fast and accumulation of the two is damaging. But I don't think for one punch power he isn't the hardest..

I rate KLIT the hardest puncher for one punch power.

I am going with someone not on the list, and who happens to be recently retired. The hardest p4p puncher I ever saw was Teddy Reid. He spent some time with me about a year after Kermit knocked him out. He showed me sparring footage from when he was with Tom Yankello. In that footage he dropped to heavyweights. Both times with a single str8 right hand. 18oz gloves and headgear. Also saw footage of him dropping Paul Williams. Had Teddy Reid learned how to box, and use all his physical tools he would have been something special.

Many is good but it might be more speed than power these days.

Rafa Marquez is a good mention but he hasnt fought in a while.

    I like Darchiniyan or Wladimir.

Its odd when people put p4p listings in there they always will neglect the heavies when talking about power and neglect the small guys when talking about speed.

But Wlad, relative to his division, has excellent power and so p4p I would say he is one of the top power punchers out there. No reason to exclude him because he is a heavyweight.

Only three people come to mind.

    Lazy yet undefeated bomber Abraham.

    Wild swinging Valero.

Dark horse is Punch-jumping Pac in the lower divisions.
