Floyd will go down top 10. Its like Tom Brady now, we all know he is the greatest QB ever, nobody wants to say it, his numbers are gonna be better then Montanas, he'll probably finish with more superbowls, but people still dont wanna rank him in the 5.

Its like Mayweather now, he has the best defensive stats in boxing in the last 20 years, he'll end up with the most belts in the most divisions, will probably never lose a fight because he doesnt get hit, so logically he is the best.

And he will got down as top 10 p4p as soon as he retires. :good

    Exactly!

Imagine how this board would have been like at the epitome of Tyson's success.

What a night it would have been had ESB existed on the night that Buster Douglas performed his magic!:yep

Can you imagine the night following when Don King and Jose Sulaiman were pondering overturning Douglas' dominant KO due to a fabricated long count?

.....I wonder how many forum members in their distress would have jumped aboard that bogus bandwagon!

Tom Brady and his football team full of super heros ain't ****. I'd like to see Tom Brady play with the level of talent that Dan Marino had to play with his entire career. I'd like to see Tom Brady do what hes done with Antonio Freeman as your 1 and only wide reciever.

Brady I agree is an amazing QB, But you gotta walk that long long road and well see whos the top dog years from now. But right now, Brady is just another all time great QB and hes got a lot of years left before he will be able to take that throne.

But I personally don't buy into it, When you got the recievers that Brady/Montana has had to work with and compare that to what favre/marino worked with, It ain't even close.

And so relating it back to boxing, You gotta put boxers careers in their proper context, You can be a God in the ring but if 98% of your fights were against B level opposition then how are you going to be the Greatest of All time?

You can say that Floyd has more skill than any of the top 10 fighters all you want, it doesn't mean ****. Floyd will never be able to walk the path that those men did EVER. It just isn't possible anymore. SRR will forever be the greatest.

Brady didn't always have great receivers. As a matter of fact, up until this year, Freeman would have been the best receiver he would have had. I see you're a Brett Favre fan, but don't be silly. Early in his career he had Sterling Sharpe, Donald Driver has put up impressive numbers for years, and before him, before he got hurt, Robert Brooks. All were at least as impressive as Brady's best recievers until this year, Deion Branch and Troy Brown, who between them have ONE 1000 yard season (Brown averaged less than 12 yrds a catch AND had something like 5 tds)

As for Marino? You DO remember and know that he had Mark Clayton and Mark "Super" Duper right? They were there until the early 90's, basically the first 10 years of his career.

And no, Mayweather is not "the greatest".
