Feel like watching them today. I have seen a lot of fights but not to many with two British fighters in them
Benn Eubank Watson Collins good back and fore battles between the 4 of them 'mostly' meeting each other.
Kaylor-Christie was the first fight I thought of. However, always in the back of my mind was the 2 wars between Eric Boon and Arthur Danahar. Man, I remember reading about these 2 fights in Boxing News years ago and it always sticks in my mind. I know there's clips out there but I'd love to see them in their entirety.
Michael Gomez-Alex Arthur Michael Ayers-Wayne Rigby I Eubank-Benn I A personal favorite of mine is Buchanan-Watt as well.
Benn/Eubank is probably the highest caliber All-British fight I have seen, although there's likely a ton of other candidates (one of which is mentioned below). Another three less often referred to bouts that I'd list for interest are: - Eric Boon vs Arthur Danahar (1939) - First televised British Title Fight and a classic. - Alan Rudkin vs Walter McGowan II (1968) - Their first bout, whilst I have not seen it, is said to have been a top class battle, as well... - George Feeney v Ray Cattouse (1982) - Highly competitive domestic scrap. Cattouse bringing the onslaught while a patient, durable Feeney picks his moments...
Mark Kaylor-Roy Gumbs Tony Sibson-Frankie Lucas Nigel Benn-Michael Watson Three terrific middleweight wars, for some reason Kaylor-Gumbs is rarely mentioned but it was a cracker. Wish there was more Gumbs footage out there, what I´ve seen have all been exciting fights.
