Joe wasn't knocked out in the first. It was the 12th. He knocked Max out in the first in the rematch.
It’s a tie Buster Douglas for Tyson because of who Tyson was at the time. & Fat Pudding Ruiz vs A. Joshua For the sheer hilarity of it.
This question can have mulitple interoperations. Are we talking worst loss in their prime or close to it? Worse loss over their career? For Tyson, McBride is a bad loss as McBride is/was barely relevant, Douglas was a huge upset against a still young Mike but a shock at the time.
Prime Foremans loss to a 33 year old supposedly finished Ali was a shocker Foreman took a long time to recover from that.!!
Apologies for my temporary insanity, LoadedGlove. I stand corrected and thanks for sorting me out. I cannot believe that I made such a stupid mistake about facts that I already knew. Perhaps it is time for me to change my medicine lol.
My thinking aswell, Tyson losing to Douglas was shocking at the time but Douglas was a talented heavyweight. Tyson losing to McBride is atrocious even if Mike was done as a top level fighter.
