Prime Hamed vs. the elite of the featherweight division in recent history and all time. Assuming he is in a three fight series with the opponent, which of the following would he beat twice?

Just drawn up a quick list off the top of my head, so it's far from perfect. I also included the modern elite four.

    Gomez
    Morales
    Saddler
    Marquez
    Pep
    Pacquiao
    Barrera
    Sanchez
    Canzo
    Kid Chocolate
    Nelson
    Armstrong
    Attell
    Pedroza

I'm not sure if he beats any of these guys 2/3 times.

    Any opinions?

Pacquiao. After seeing Morales V McCullough I'd give him a shot at beating him as well.

A prime motivated Naz trained by Ingle would be too much for all of them

I'll tell you who I think he doesn't beat:

Saddler, Pep, Sanchez, Kid Chocolate, Armstrong.

In fact Pep makes him look like a complete twat for 12/15 rounds, and Saddler just beats him silly.

I'm sure he has a chance of beating some on that list: Nelson, Barrera, Morales, Pedroza.

Others I don't know enough about to make a decision: Canzo, Attell.

As regards to Pac-Man, I personally think that his is a bad style for Hamed. The latter is more powerful, I think Pac is faster, the chins are both good (Naz goes down more through getting caught off balance), Pac has the better work-rate. I don't think Pac would let Naz sit back and pose, picking his shots. I think he would swarm him, getting on the inside to land heavy blows. I would see Hamed countering his way to an early lead, but Pac wearing him down in the middle-late rounds to pull out a clear UD.

naz could beat the pac of recent times. but i don't think he would of beat the 03-05 pacman. he may be able to scrape out a decision against morales. barerra beats him every time. too quick and technically sound

Marco Antonio Barrera and Eric Morales. That's why they stayed at 122 at the time!

Even Pacman of 03-05 use to fall all over the place and go wild. Against a southpaw, he would have more weaknesses and would be exposed as he has been in the 2 Marquez fights. i thought he lost them both. He lost 11 rounds in the first one. No chance against prime Naz who had a punch from either stance and was also naturally left handed. Just can;t see him falling around against a slick southpaw and winning.

I'm sure this fight was discussed early in Hamed's reign. He said it would take 8 rounds to dismantle Nelson.

I think Morales would have beaten Hamed.

I also think that the super bantamweights/featherweights/auper featherweights in Morales , Barrera, Pacquaio and Marquez would all beat Hamed. I dont but into the Hamed wasnt in his prime for the Barrera, he was, and he lost not because he didnt follow his game plan it was because Barrera didnt allow him to.

I think Hameds best chance of a victory with any of the above fighters is with Pac believe it or not. Mainly due to the fact that Pac comes forward and does get hit.

Marquez i think would ud Hamed, he did get put down off Pac but he recuperated very well. Hamed may put him down but even Pac with his workrate couldnt stop Marquez and Hamed doesnt have the best output.

Yeah right as if they really wanted any part of the Professor. Had Hamed fought Azumah his career would have unravelled quicker as Nelson would have enjoyed stopping him.

he was a lot faster and hungrier in those days. the pac of today has slowed a lot.

naz had far from perfect balance and defense. i would say that pacman looked like willie pep compared to naz. remember the Kelly, madina and sanchez, soto and MAB fights. hamed was all over the place

he could get away with that fancy **** against domestic and europeon leevl fighters but when he steped up to true world level he struggled to look as good. he relied on his awesome power.

don't give me **** about Naz looking great against Johnson, Bungu, Vasquez, badillo, robinson and co. those guys were either totally shot (the first three named above) or continental class fighters at best (the latter)

bull ****. they would of fought naz anytime if they got the call. naz was a huge money earner. everyone wanted to fight him. nobody would of ducked naz (). unless they were insane and weren't into boxing for the money
