If you don't feel sorry for hagler, don't ****ing vote for him.

    Jesus christ you're dense.
I don't know who voted for roy, I don't care either.
Some people feel bad he keeps boxing and getting knocked out. Obviously you don't, so vote for someone else or name someone else.
This isn't your 20 year old fantasy boxing world where everyone who fights in the era of floyd mayweather means something to someone.
Some of us give a **** about boxing past the year 1998.

Its amazing how people can start arguing over nothing.

I clicked Jones without looking properly (I am tired). I do in a way feel bad for Tyson, after watching that documentary-film about him. I unfortunately don't know about this Joe Louis story but I should obviously check that out.

I think he was trying to include different reasons to feel sorry for a fighter...

    Dude.
You're one of the dumbest posters on this forum.
I love the idea you wanted to get bitchy in one of my threads.

Didn't he also have to turn to pro wrestling??? I think his name was the "Brown Bomber" and later died penniless. Certainly a sad story, for a true great of the sport.

Joe Louis's story is sad as hell. Lots of fighters spend too much money and he was no exception, but it wasn't merely his spending habits that made him go broke. After doing a lot for the war effort the government decided to thank him but saying he deliberately tried to deceive them by withholding money, or something like that.

Read about guys like Sam Langford or Jimmy Bivins. Those are some ****ed up stories about what they went through.

Bivins is one of the living (I think he's still alive) fighters that I have the most sympathy for.
