Arguello long had problems with depression. He almost killed himself in the 80s in front of his son when his son was just a child.

I forgot about Espinosa. I feel more sorry for him than most of the fighters being named. Got ripped off of some big purses, I heard he had a shady manager, his wife took a lot of his money.

He's been really nice and helpful in the times I've encountered him in the gym.

What? Cotto lost to 2 cheaters? Why is Pacqio a cheater. Dont tell me that because Mayweather said so.

Mosley made plenty of money, especially in the DLH fights. Dont know what you are talking about here.

Mallinagi is an overachiever. He got some gift decisions. Was destroyed by Cotto and Hatton and recently had some success so I dont know what you are talking about here either.

    Z Gorres.

Always classy in and out of the ring.

The ALA boxing gyms unofficial captain of all the boxers in that stable.

Good skills, only he never had the gift of heavy hands.

We hope he recovers as well as he can.

Why? Do you dislike him specifically?

I like him so would like to see him retire with good health. If you have a dislike for him and that is why you enjoy seeing him take punishment then I find that distasteful.

I do understand the fascination many have in seeing the mighty fall but with Roy it's just not shocking anymore.

Well maybe i was a little harsh in my choice of words, didnt like see him getting knocked around by Danny Greene but was happy when humble good guy Glenn Johnson knocked him out Tarver too, or when Calzaghe mocked him and put a whupping on him. You might ask why?
Well i was a big Roy jones fan early in his career, but didnt like the way he humiliated many of his opponents, he later developed an arrogance about him that i didnt like. He wasnt like that earlyon or atleast he didnt show it. He also made some derogotory statements about Oscar when they were both top guys in the sport my uncle met him in Vegas and told me Roy was talking alot of **** and was telling him that hed ***** slap Oscar etc etc this is when Roy was a LH and Oscar a JW. Sounded like a hater and jeolous of the money and fame Oscar was getting. Roy should have been secure in hisgreat talents and shouldnt resort to such behavior, his true feelings came out. He would have looked like an ass saying that to the media or on TV. SO as you see i have a few reasons for not liking him. I would not like to see him get hurt and he should retire after Hopkins, but i want to tell you ill be glad to see Hopkins get his payback:yep

I dont understand why Hagler, Louis & Jones are even on the poll, one is dead & the other 2 have all their faculties & are rich with excellent careers under their belt.

Id say Tyson, he`s lost a daughter recently, that must be the worst thing especially with his frame of mind.

Cotto, who is one of my favorites. He's been through alot lately, but he has always been a class act in my eyes and will always be my favorite PR fighter. I personally think he can rebound from this if he really wants to and needs a much needed break and different training methods. His heart has never been in question, but I think defensively and stamina wise he could need a boost. He was a great fighter in need of a great trainer.

    Johnny Owen.

Only a one in a million medical condition stopped him achieving World class status. Poor *******, biggest heart ever and a medically proven IRON CHIN. Good skills and decent pop.

Was competitive with an ATG Bantam in Pintor until the tragic end. Poor boy.
