Which Boxer do you hate the most?

Probably the most ridiculous post fight quote I have ever heard. Surely nobody else thought that he could 'weather the storm', wait for Calzaghe to tire out and stop him late on?

Peter, there was no 'storm', you were copping a beating from the first bell, and the referee did you a favour. The fact that you are able to complain proves this - because you were being beaten into oblivion!

 

Yeah, you're right! The fight should have never happened, but I understand why Joe took it.

I was actually surprised when the Board of Control sanctioned the fight, as Manfredo had operated at a lower weight throughout his career, and had hardly mixed in decent company.

Compare that to their rejection of Ezra Sellars (correct IMO), which shows that Manfredo was fortunate to get in there with Joe.

The winners of Contender are always ridiculously overhyped, and should have to beat decent opposition before getting title shots, for their own safety as much as spectator entertainment.

 

And name recognition in the States, which I think was the main motive.

 

I don't hate any boxer but I dislike Margo because he talks **** and can't back it up in the ring. Tarver because he's a one hit wonder and the fact a prime Jones would have starched him. Oscar because he should retire and he's ****ing up boxing by continuing on.
