In my opinion it would be Arturo Gatti in his fight against Micky Ward

I wouldn't say the most heart, but Danny Williams fighting with a dislocated shoulder deserves a mention.

    The williams fight was brilliant!!

Gatti for me had the most heart especially in the Floyd fight when his eye was swolen shut and he begged for one more round,or in the oscar fight when he was dropped in the first round and took a severe beating for about 6 rounds i think before the towel came in. then theres the obvious ward fight where somehow he stayed on his feet for 8 rounds then in the 9th got up from the perfect body shot and survived the fight to come back strong in the tenth with his eyes almost swolen over!!

    R.I.P Gatti!!!!

Gatti and Ward are definatley both up there in recent times, however, I don't think I've ever scene anything that compares with the footage of Dempsey - Willard.

Willard showed tremendous courage to keep getting up in that first round. I think he was sent to the canvas something like 7 times. Bear in mind that Dempsey is considered the 7th best puncher of all time and you were allowed to hit your opponent back then as soon as one glove or knee came off the canvas floor, there was no neutral corner and you were essentially allowed free shots on your opponent when they were still on the deck.

He struggled onto round four with a borken jaw and several teeth missing. I don't think you'll find a better example of heart than that

  7. margarito has a lot of heart. i dont think i ve ever seen anyone take a beating like the one pacquiao gave him.

Talking about dislocated shoulders - Jean Pascal v Adrian Diaconu when Pascal's shoulder popped out and they popped it back in the corner. That dude is, as he likes to be called, a SOLDIER

There is quite a few fighters who just demand your respect with the way they commit to the sport and refuse to back down in the face of adversity. Warriors

Miguel Cotto - Never backed down from no one.

Took lots of punishment from Margarito, hung on as long as he could - **** the haters, lets see how long they would last!

Took a lot of punishment from Pacquiao

Took a beating from Clottey, couldn't see the punches coming, but never gave up.

Arturo Gatti is more known to it in most of his fights.
