No doubt he was a monster but he tended to loop it if you look at many of his brutal KO's .. the shot he stopped Botha with, I mean he practically lifted the guy in the air and knocked him across the ring .. what a shot ..

Thomas Hearns comes to mind. Lewis had an awesome right hand which he didn't always throw straight. Tyson could go right through people with his right hand. Arguello and Bob Foster could really whip there right hands and put peoples lights out. Of course Joe Louis's is one of the best. Wilder has a very good right hand time will tell where it ranks.

Hearns and Arguello come to mind, which is odd since they were the same generation pretty much. That era had some nice punchers, which I don't think was a mistake.

Hearns and Arguello are the obvious picks...probably because they're the best ones.

To throw a wildcard into the mix, Randall Bailey had a helluva straight right. As a fighter in whole he was limited compared to the other mentions, but his straight right alone could compete with anyone ever.

Although far more versatile than given credit for, he had a wrecking ball of a right hand...

With his huge reach it might be Hearns for me maybe by a smidge from Louis.
Gomez had a decent right hand out of those not mentioned and Hopkins applied his superbly as well. The mention of Archie Moore is a great one too.
