Cotto..Can Jab, power punching, Can throw combinations, Can counter reasonably well, has a vicious body attack, can attack going forwards or backwards. He may not be as explosive as Pacquiao but he has a ridiculous punch arsenal.

Where is David Haye? He probally has the best blend of technique, and power with a single shot.

Juan Diaz while not heavy handed, breaks you down and when he commits throws maybe the best combinations in boxing.

All three belong on that list. Mayweather one of the best today offensively. He's not as aggressive as he use to be on offense, but when he fights offensively, he's hella good :yep I mean he's only the most accurate fighter in boxing history.

Bump. Wlad got alot of votes before his fight last weekend but knowing how boxing is "what have you done for me lately" I'd like to see this be re-discussed.

Except in aggresion, output, power. Defense allows him to win fights but its not offense...

I'm gonna have to go with Mayweather. He's equally effective with both hands, and there isn't one punch that he can't throw effectively. He can hurt you going foward, backwards, and even to the side. His punches are fast, and extremely accurate. He can lead with any punch, and when he chooses, he's a very good combination puncher. The only offesnive weakness he has is a lack of devestating punching power.

I don't understand how Manny and Wlad can rank so highly, when they have a pretty limited range of punches. Calzaghe and Cotto have the most complete offense in boxing, in terms of both range of punches, ability to land, and ability to string together combinations. Neither Manny and WLad put their combinations together anywhere near as well as either Cotto or Calzaghe either..... Manny prefers to live off the one two, same as Wlad.

Mayweather is a terrible combination puncher, what are you talking about??? Look at the Oscar, Hatton, Baldomir fights for example. He doesn't have big power in his hands, and he is tentative sometimes in his punch output. I don't understand how anyone could choose Mayweather out of that list.

You clearly haven't watched enough Mayweather fights. The king of combination punching, Roy Jones Jr., once commented that Floyd is a beautiful combination puncher. The problem with the Baldo and and Oscar fights are that he threw too many single shots. However, when he decided to throw combinations, he was succesful. The same with the Hatton fight. He threw some really good combinations against Zab. I'm not even going to get into the Gatti fight. The combination punching in that fight was sick.

Answer me this what, punch does Floyd not throw effectively? What punch can't he lead with? Is he , or is he not effective with both hands?
