Pac fans and it aint close.

The Pac Vs "any ATG threads" are made by Pac fans who actually think he can win

The Calzaghe Vs "any ATG threads" are made by haters having a pathetic dig at him.

See the Pac-Tszyu and Douglas-Calzaghe threads as example. It's not even close.

The fact Calzaghe is winning this poll is proof.

Pac Fans are nuts but not as delusional as many think. Years ago one would never imagined pac fighting at 135 then 147. Absolutely crazy people said. well..

Pac Fans are nuts about pac, but the threads Pac vs kingkong are all for fun. At least pac fights those considered mismatches not in his favor and backs it up.

Oh, and the delusional fans are floyds.. They all think he is the second coming of jesus for god sake.

Williams is getting there, but it's Fraud Mayweather.

Paul Williams has one good win (and many say he should not have won that) he beats a washed up 39 year old Verno Phillips and Kolle who is not even ranked in the top 100 middleweights and people think he is the next great MW-pitiful.

There's a lot more Calzaghe haters than nuthuggers on here, but a few of the huggers are so ****ing ludicrous that all the Calzaghe fans get tarred with the same brush.

They are nuts, they also only turn up after he fights. I heard this and dismissed it as i had only joined in September. I stand corrected. Obviously the pac fans who have been here throughout are excluded.

They might be for fun, but the Calzaghe ones are either made by Pugilist or CHJ or an obvious alias and they are treated as if every Calzaghe fan feels the same, and every non public poll reflects this. People love hating on Calzaghe for the slightest reason, he talked about something that was on the boards since i joined(Boxing's decline, affect MMA had on Boxing) and there was 5 threads made about it as if he had shat in a church. Hypocrisy.

If he(Floyd) was on the poll it might be different, but like I said i have only been here since september and he was retired so i was spared. I personally like him and wish he was involved, the best Boxers on the planet, if they are physically able, should be boxing. he can only add to the sport.

yeah that would be a great post except nobody except you is saying Williams is the next great MW. What they're saying is he is the best WW in the world. You want to argue that point?

Like I said Pac Fans are nuts, some are on the borderline delusional but I am not afraid to be called a Pac Fan, as I have been watching the kid since 95, and i feel the accolades he gained through are pretty much his hardwork. Also they are still a number of sensible Pac Fans who post here so its still not a loss. Whilst every Floyd Fan thinks he cannot and will not be touched by anyone, now thats a stretch.

I also like Calzaghe, but being over 35 we may never really know how he would have fared with fighters his age when they were at their peak, and that just sad.

You defo should not be afraid to be a Pac fan, nothing wrong with that.

Like I said i cant comment on Floyd fans, he has been retired since i got here.

Calzaghe's situaton is a ****ed up one, even for fans, the only big names available throughout his career, at any weight, were Jones and Hop, and the Jones fight was never happening and Hop pulled the plug in 2002(I agree with Hop's choice) but still, it cant be put at Calzaghe's feet. This along with Calzaghe's chronic lack of faith in himself, makes it very hard to properley judge him, but the hate he gets on here is pathetic to say the least.

Calzaghe will be fine, as much as haters and huggers debate about him all day long, hes still retiring with a wide smile in his face knowing his 0 is intact after brushes with hops, jones and kessler..

If he still wants to take it to another level, a fight with dawson would seal his legacy in boxing.
