This isnt hating on Fury but I believe HW dont move like him is because there hasn't been need to. Big guys can move quick (NBA players seem pretty sprightly). Just most heavy weights tend to be tanks. Most of them barely move their head.

Big being mobile is a relatively new phenomenon in the NBA. Sure there has always been so more athletic and skillful than others but if you look at what the average center does now compared with 20-30 years ago it's chalk and cheese.

Loma made four world class fighters quit in a row through nothing but the application of skill and his unique style and awkwardness, three of them were current, former or future world champions and two were unbeaten, and the lone one who wasn't a world champion (Marriaga) is a big punching proven warrior who gave Oscar Valdez hell and pushed him mighty close (the judge's cards were atrocious) in a losing effort for his title in what was one of the fights of the year. I won't be surprised if Marriaga goes on to pick up a strap if he gets the opportunity. None of them had ever seen anything like Loma before.

    You do the math.

Kingpin Johnson. He has a great left and a right, which he uses at the end of the fight.
