Just coz Buckley knew his role in the sport doenst mean you could have him , I saw him fight loads of times and there were many occasions where it was obvius if he really wanted to win he could have, that man knew his way around a boxing ring

some of the moves I saw him pull were gorgeous but he knew if he started thrashing these kids the phone would stop ringing but I kinda wish I'd seen him actually fighting to win.

I saw him on a really minor card in Clydebank ( cant even remember who he fought ) and he let himself get outworked but there were occasions were he drew the boy he was fighting into being so off balance he could have knocked the dude out of the ring.
