Hold up, stop the presses! Did I just read correctly in that Ricky's trunks were always "awful"? That baby blue from Manchester City with the little patch of the British flag right above the arse crack (no homo) is not worthy? Man it takes an act of Parliament to get your attention lol. Goddamn, I know fashion was invented in Europe but you don't get more floss than those trunks lol. Damn this is a borderline gay topic but who cares...LOL

    I don't like Haye's - I think Chisora's are nicer.

Lennox Lewis had pretty decent trucks toward the end of his career.

What type of trunks would you all wear?

Lets see if we have some fashionistas among us in the Brit forum.

I really like the old school trunks.

This actually takes me back to my bottom bunk bed with my Ray Leonard poster hanging in between the two beds. The poster had Ray rocking a red robe with some red thick white 3 stripe addidas speed boots lol that's ole school!

For my part, i would definitely do the traditional rayon/silk robe, with the ole school speed boots.

I'd have simple trunks, black with white trim with my alias on the back. Simple is best.

For the trunks i agree TFFP, simple is best. I would rock the Ali white Everlast but the red stripe instead of his usual black stripe down the middle. I would have to go for the middle length trunks with the 70's 3 striped socks that met the knee cap. I would even wear two knee pads...think Michael Spinks vs. Tyson.

    Max Baer?

    or

    James Toney?

They are 2 fighters off the top of my head who had a Star of David on their trunks

I think it looks cool, but i'm no fashionista. lol

I was looking at some pics of the old Adidas speed boots and damn they looked cool as well. Do you know Adidas actually made all the green straps for the WBC back in the day? My old man had a 1970's vintage looking Adidas WBC strap hanging in his home office.
