    Tito4eva...don't you ever sleep? Work?
I gather that you really like boxing.

Too bad it really isn't what it used to be.

I like it. Tomato cans can hurt if they hit you. But get a hold of them and they crush easy.

Calzaghe literally did not allow that guy to throw a punch:lol:

A fighters prime can be strange to pin down. Physically that 8 fight novice is much better than the current version in terms of hand speed, and he also looks to be hitting a lot harder, committing to his punches.

But mentally he is at his peak right now, confident, controlled and aware of how to best use his abilities.

Manny Pacquiao fought a bloke that had lost 9 straight fights for his 16th career fight and then fought somebody for his 17th career fight that had lost 2 out of 2,both KO's one in 1st round and one in the 3rd round.

  13. Kessler.

Amazing Calzaghe video though; that hand speed!

It does seem odd in Asia that guys with 40 odd fights can be put in with debutants......

Any British fighter that reaches the top must qualify..... that is sort of the examination that they tend to have over here - guys that fail to knock over bum opponents generally don't get there. The ones that do get there succeed in this regard, the Calzaghe video is a prime example.

There are a few Hatton vids on YT that show guys running away almost from the body shots

I'd have to say Junior Witter was pretty damn good in this regard! I've known very few fighters who were such "lethal KO artists" against C-Level opponents yet completely lost their "power" when put in with anyone who was anywhere near world class.
