For me, it was Iglesias Sotolongo by far. He had it all, power, defence, combinations, slickness, could brawl when he wanted to. He beat the number 1 seed in his second fight, beat a tough tall, hard hitting southpaw (Rahmonov) in the QF, beat the slick italian Mangiacapre in the SF and beat the relentless pressure fighter Berinchyk in the final. Absolute class act
1. Lomachenko 2. Iglesias Completely not impressed by Zou, who deserved the gold even less as Joshua.
I was really impressed with Lomachenko. Hopefully he will sign with Goldenboy and we will be able to see him develop as a pro.
Iglesias is a great boxer indeed, but like all Cubans he will most likely stay trapped inside Cuba's amateur system for his entire career. :-(
The Cuban flyweight, the Mexican bantum, the PR lightweight & the Australian HW were all impressive teenagers
