    Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali.

    From the Liston days onward.

And then Frazier, Foreman, Duran, Leonard, Hagler, and all the greats from my earlier days.

Interest kept alive by Tyson, Monzon, Jones, Hopkins, Delahoys, Tito ( I almost forgot Hearns !), Lewis, and Barerra and Morales.

Every era has had its greats, some more than others, but it's always interesting.

Ward-Gatti I. That fight got me into boxing. Before that fight I thought that boxing was boring and slow and stupid. I didn't understand it at all. When Gatti got KO'd by Gomez earlier this year I came pretty close to tears.

Calzaghe v Lacy reignited my long lost passion for the sport that I had for a long time been only a casual observer of.

Originally Jeff Fenech, got to see most of his title wins and defenses. Then met a mate with 100 VHS tapes full of boxing, started working my way through them and became a big Tommy Hearns fan.
Gave up on the sport after the Foreman-Schulz fiasco, just got tired of too many dodgy decisions. Watched the odd PPV here and there but did make an effort to catch Tszyu whenever I could.

Same here, earlier this year a mate lent me some UFC dvds. Enjoyed but wasn't quite the same, started looking up old fights on youtube and for the first time in ages went to the pub at 9am to watch a PPV, Pavlik-Taylor. Now I'm hooked again.
