Which fighter would you like to see get serious Hollywood treatment?

Mann's Ali was beyond garbage, but it wouldn't bother me if someone did another serious film about Ali's life and his most celebrated opponents, Frazier, Norton, Foreman, Liston, Patterson, Holmes, Quarry, Chuvalo and a few others.

I'd love to see a good movie done about Sam Langford. A film about Oscar Bonavena and Argentina in the 60s would be cool too. I wouldn't mind a proper Jack Johnson film that focusses a bit more time on his fights with the early black heavyweight contenders.

I imagine i could make quite a movie about Bonavena. given the resources.

portray the first frazier fight as a robbery loss, and then have it sort of culminate in the Ali fight, which he loses in epic fashion in the final round. call it ringo

Carlos Monzon. If someone doesn't make it happen, I'll make one myself!

He deserves a good showing. If this was done a few years back, Kiefer Sutherland could have probably played the lead. I don't wanna see the Old Kids On The Block's oldest brother do another boxing film.

    No more Wahlberg.

I thought they were making one about Bonavena with Javier Bardem.

I think a story about Hearns,Duran,Leonard and Hagler with Benitez added in would make a great movie.

Duran deserves a mention (seriously though). Agree with the Monzon pick, Jack Johnson has been done but maybe it could be added too and give more characterisation and events

Jersey Joe or Ezzard Charles would be interesting ones

Has there ever been a Ray Robinson movie? That'd be pretty good. Jonny Tapia would make a good movie, he wrote a biography too

Monzon would be a great life story.

Benny Leonard might be quite good with a look at the stock market crash and how he had to go back to boxing.
