which boxers do you dislike and why??

I don't care much for Amir Khan as he always seems to be moaning. Even prior to the Peterson loss it was guff like "in America they don't hate on their fighters" - whatever the **** that means.

Other than him, it's just Antonio Margarito. I can't buy that he'd be so oblivious that he didn't realise his wraps were loaded prior to the Mosley bout, and using loaded wraps is low as ****. (And that's coming from a Scotsman.) Having said that I did find his Paulie Walnuts-esque mannerisms highly amusing in the build-up to the Cotto rematch...

 

I've seen this posted so many times. Seriously, how did he celebrate? He shrugged his shoulders and then walked back to his corner.

 

As long as you're not blinded by his world title trinket, then I wouldn't describe his record as '****' for where he is at this stage in his career.

Murat, Bellew, Brancalion, McIntosh, Mohammedi, Oakey, Fry, Kuziemski, Vegas, Quigley - for someone that has had 24 fights, not bad IMO.

 

Khan, he is annoying as ****, without his speed he would be British level IMO.

 

It was his interview afterwards, claiming he stopped him when thingymajig couldn't and all that.

Obviousy (easy example) Tony Ayala is an easy guy to not be too fond of Monzon, his ability makes it easier for me to forget ;-)

In all seriousness, I never let any personality defects get in the way of me rating a fighter accordingly unless it has somehow influenced their in-ring career.

 

Speaking of Ayala, add Paulie to that aswell.

 

Same here. I can switch off any dislike I have for Khan, for example, during a fight. But with Margarito not so much. :nono

 

I have respect for all fighters who get in ring but i dislike:

Khan due to his stupid comments, and dick riding fans who'd take bullets for the guy...and other stuff..

Groves i don't find him funny i'm not a fan of people who think they are, i think DeGale's behavior towards Groves made public side with Groves and winning made him a hero but in reality he's just a idiot for his petulant and childish behavior as well it took two to tango and tango he did that night last year. He could take a lesson in class from someone like Cotto instead of asking Booth what to say next. Kid gets a free pass IMO.

Cleverly because of his father and people who spoke **** about Bellew and when Bellew outboxed him didn't want to give him his dues.

Matt Macklin - The fakeist person ive ever seen. Comes across as a butter wouldnt melt kind of guy, seems like a top bloke....but yet ****s off england to say he is Irish, screws over ****** and his best mate Hatton, left countless trainers, gives argubably his best performance last time out in Germany but yet still ****s off Joe Gallagher to go to Buddy. Something not right there, cause he does seem like a top bloke on screen

 

I'm not a fan of him either, i didn't like when Hatton was preparing for a fight in vegas and this idiot was part of his camp getting pissed paralytic. Didn't help when the trainer was drinking with him.....

 

I'm wary of disliking any boxer as it can prevent me from being completely objective. Or liking them for that matter.

Having said that James Toney is a monumental **** who's not half as funny as he thinks he is. Also he's rather overated and got a gift in his 2nd fight against Mccallum.

 

I dislike Amir Khan immensely, its bordering on pure violent hatred, the reasons why are shown to the world every time he opens his ****ing trap.

 

Yeah, I can't stand Toney either.

David Haye obviously - he's about as funny as cancer and was shite to watch too - if he's considered a boxer....

That's about it really, speaking of trainers I ****ing hate Vince Cleverly, not just because he's a **** trainer/cornerman, but he just comes across as a proper smug twat to boot.
