And the way a bunch of posters here always pick him to get beaten up and stopped against other ATGs, maybe Floyd Mayweather Jr...
Pacquiao. I used to be dismissive of his defensive style, especially when he leans back with his high guard without darting out with his usual foot speed advantage, but as I've watched him age through his thirties with it, despite holes in it, it's pretty damn solid and used with much more craft than he is normally credited for in his defense. Defense. Credit. Speed. Holes. Craft. Pacquiao. Style. Foot. Watched. When I see Marciano described, by us as well as contemporaries and then watch him, it doesn't really match the guy I'm looking at, honestly. I find him rather dynamic and defensively interesting and difficult, considering the volume of power punches he uses.
For me Marciano. For some odd reason so many think he was easy to hit. Completely not true. According to Compubox he was one of the better defensive fighters amongst the greats. Really underrated at countering.
