Right away Joe calzaghe comes to mind. This guy thinks he is some kind of legend :patsch

Feasting on bums his entire career, he steps up twice, to fight 2 prime good smw champions. Just when i think he is turned over a new leaf, he goes back to his old ways....

Facing an albeit p4p number 1 light heavy BHOP, he barley beat this guy :-( Did i forget to mention that hopkins was 43!?! Many see this as a good win, i dont think this fight should have ever happend, not only was it probobly the worst fight ive ever seen, but somhow joe thinks it cemented his legacy :yep or somthing like that.

I wont even mention the roy jones fight, that was pathetic..... Calzaghe had 1 fight left in his mind, and chose roy jones :huh

Now, I think joe is a fine fighter, he really impressed me with wins against lacy and kessler. His 2 best wins in my book. Everything else is eh. It sucks that he ended his career fight 2 old washed up atg's for money. BUt in joe's mind, i guess they were in his prime(both knocking him down in the first :yep).

I wouldnt mind it as much though, if he didnt flap his mouth so much :-(

I understand people being annoyed by fighters being obnoxious, but realistically, if you'd put in decades of blood sweat and tears in the gym and the ring, and won your last 50-something amateur fights and then all your 46 pro fights, winning world titles in 2 divisions and beating a few very good fighters, you'd have a pretty big mouth too!

Besides, i don't even think you can be as succesful as Calzaghe in a sport like boxing without being at least a little full of yourself.

The fact that you think Bernard Hopkins' was 'washed up' invalidates your opinion.

Calzaghe was the best super-middleweight ever, undisputed champion, 4 world titles, linear at two weights.

havent I said that he is a good fighter? Ill give him respect for that, but thats not the point of the thread. Its what hes done with his career. Hes a good fighter, but hes not some kind of superstar. Instead of saying im a hater, care to prove me wrong?

Calzaghe is up there, he prided himself on fighting mostly C class oppenents from around 97-06 until he took on american hypejob Jeff Lacy to unify the belts. Calzaghe fought mostly to home town crowds and defending the lame WBO belt for nearly 10 years, while also backing out of fights against Glen Johnson a few times, one of those lame excuses being marriage problems.

Another one is Amir "CON". This guy has done absolutey nothing in his career to warrent his ego. Yes he is a very good amatuer style fighter, he cleaned up the british domestic scene(other then thaxton, big suprise here mr frank warren). But you gotta remember, he got KOED in the first round against a NOBODY. You got it, an unproven opponent crushed his dreams and ego. Now, after this, Con was humbled. I started actualyl liking him. Then he beat otis, he was still somwhat humble. But after beating an old (out of retirment for the money) barrera....... his ego is back :patsch

he had the AUDACITY, to **** on kotelnik(former silver medalist too). A reigining champ who has done much more in his career then Con. Who the **** are you con to **** on a proven guy. When 2 fights ago you got exposed by a nobody in the 1st round.(and wont rematch him). Con's best win is against barrera who was coming out of retirment. And even barrera said after the fight that he couldnt feel con's punches :rofl
