Some good (i.e., perfectly reasonable) Amir Khan hate in here. I'm off to bump my old thread so people can vent some more.

I dont even count those wins as 2 great wins, cuz kessler/lacy were nobodies!! what great fighters have they beaten? Till this day what great things have they done? nothing!! Honestly when i look at Joe Calzaghes career all i see is a win over a badly washed up Roy Jones, cuz in many eyes he lost 2 a past prime 43 year old B-hop,so im sorry a win over a bady shot RJ doesnt make u a legend!! Joe is simply a overrated fraud and will never be in the hall of fame cuz if thats the case then anybody should be eligible for the hall of fame, cuz a fighter with his record is pathetic!! Pe@ce

Jr Witter. You hear this guy talk and you'd think he's the best fighter ever to come out of britian.

I defintly feel for him though, he became britains number 2 without a doubt. Facing tough euro opponents(better opponents then what hatton was feasting on before kostya). And he never got the chance to prove it against ricky, because ricky thought he would lose against witter :patsch

I can understand why he is bitter

    Hello, David Haye anyone?

Also, while PBF has accomplished a lot, i still think his ego is much larger than what he's actually accomplished. That guy is completely delusional. He calls himself the best ever while he ducks real fights all the time.

Yeah, David Haye - the linear cruiserweight champ, 3 world titles.

Hardly lacking in accomplishments, is he?

Sorry, but I don't understand the premise of this thread.

    People saying 'Calzaghe'...

I dislike Calzaghe, but don't give me this **** about him 'lacking the accomplishments to compliment his ego', dude was linear at two weights, 4 world titles, retired undefeated.

He accomplished more than 99.99% of all boxers, he earned the right to have an ego (which I personally don't think he has all that much).

The Tyson Fury shout is a good one. Some of the interview stuff I've seen ("out box 70's Foreman right now") is just ludicrous and well beyond just self promotion.

How about FM Snr? Does he have anywhere near the training resume to back up his ridiculous nonsense?

You have to go with Floyd, yes there are other guys that are full of themselves and cocky (honestly Calzaghe isn't one of them, he's confident, not cocky) but none of them try and say they are the best p4p boxer in history the way Floyd does. A lot of guys just act cocky to promote their fights, Floyd does it because he really is that full of himself. While his boxing ability be second to none (he is #1 p4p in my mind), he refuses to fight the best fighters that are at his level, he only takes fight that he knows he will win. So I don't know how anyone can say anybody other than Floyd.
