Yea, supposedly Gennady's twin brother Max was pretty damn good too. They dominated the amateur ranks growing up, but as they got to the olympic level, they did not want to compete against each other so Max gave up boxing. Gennady said that Max was a more skilled boxer then he was, but that he didn't have the same power. Would definitely be interesting to see had he never quit.
Tommy Morrison had a bother Tim that was a heavyweight boxer with a 14-25 record. It was embarrassing and he was rarely ever mentioned during Tommy's career.
Thorsten May was better than his brother RĂ¼diger, both sucked at pro though.+ Arthur Abraham -> Alexander Abraham Alexander Povetkin -> Vladimir Povetkin Eddie Chambers -> Steven Upshur Chambers Chris Byrd -> Patrick Byrd Andre Dirrell -> Anthony Dirrell
i thought he was quite an accomplished amateur but when it came time to go pro cos of money issues he tuck a job which allowed GGG to turn pro if thats true, what a quality guy, pretty huge sacrafice im sure gennedy will look after him
