which boxers inspired you to get involved in the sport?

    for me it was hatton, calzaghe, de la hoya and morales.

    seriously i have been so hyped watching footage of these guys that i have literally ended up slugging it out with 6 foot 8 18 stone heavyweights in sparring when i weighed about 154lbs and sometimes coming out on top......:thumbsup

    and to a small degree alfonso gomez and michael jennings both guys hoplessely overmatched against cotto but both kept getting up and fighting there hearts out

    Contender Season 1 was what got me into boxing. The first live boxing match I ever watched was Amir Khan on his debut in 2005. Followed his career since but it was the contender that started it off. My interest is huge.

    no joke i think the guy who got me interested in boxing was audley harrison fighting on saturday nights on itv but it was the likes of hatton, jc ,dlh and em that made me train and really research the sport
