Loma has really clever footwork and uses it offensively better than anyone I`ve seen, Duran was similar creating angles, so who would be better than Loma from past decades?

Whitaker had some awesome footwork as well.

Not sure if it was better than Loma though.

    Awesome footwork there.

Alter his fight with Jerry Quarry, Jerry was asked if he found Bodell awkward. He said "well he fell awkwardly"

It's easy to look like you have great foot work when your best opponent is a beyond prime, and above his best fighting weight Rigo or the other nothing special fighters he's fought in his amazingly "LONG" career of 13 total pro fights . When he beats a fighter the caliber of a Sandy Saddler , like Pepp did, or Jose luis Ramirez, or Chavez Like Whitaker did, or Rafeal Limon, Melvin Paul, or Ramirez like prime Camacho did , or Benitez,Duran, or Hearns Like Prime Leonard did. Or all the great fighters Robinson defeated at welter, or prime Ali did at Heavy, or the fighters prime Jones Jr defeated , or the fighters E.Pedrosa showed out against, or Prime Duran did at lightweight while being aggressive. And fighters like Napoles, prime Hagler, and dozens of other unheralded great fighters with great foot work from the past 100 yrs did against very good to great competition. Wake me up when and if he defeats an opponent the caliber the above fighters defeated with great foot work.

There won't be a long list tbh. Lomachenko is incredibly gifted. He could well be the best boxer ever.

However in terms of footwork there's different types and he seems to create angles from nowhere, so you can only really compare with those types of fighters.

For example it isn't like Golovkin who is able to cut a ring in half with one step or like Mayweather who can stay just outside of punching range with ease.

But Loma is the real deal, I don't think anyone doubts that.
