I Think some of the posters here have very inflated egos.. And its not because they are accomplished fighters. Its becaue they are big LOl Wow would some of you be in for a rude awakening if you decided to test your theory. I think size plays more of an advantage under boxing rules... Street fights are so quick, alot of itmes its who gets off first, obvously size can work for you if you know how to use it.. IF not its overrated.

And i unless your like a 6-6 or 6-7 and up and weighing 300lbs plus.. Dont think you a small world class fighter dont have the power to spark u out... Ive just seen and have heard to many examples to back up where im coming from..

Andrew Hartley, Charlie Zelenoff, Clyde Weaver.

I'm pretty sure these 'pro' boxers would get the **** kicked out of them.

You people saying a 200lb guy woud beat a topped rankedwelter are ******ed. Someavaerage guy would have his jaw broken straight away. No gloves and a technically sound shot even malinagi would have them ****ed.

Well unlike other sports any one can be a pro boxer... So technichaly yes there are some pro fighters that arent all that tough... Although the average man is actually pretty wimpy, and Id put my money on Hartley:lol:

By trained fighters though i think most of us are talking about.. Fighters with either a decent amatuer background, or at least tough club fighter ,journeyman.. Guys that actually train and look the part of a "Real Pro"

I'm a big guy that knows better. I'm 6'5 and 286 lbs. When I boxed, I weighed in the 240's. These days I train at a strength and speed gym. In the past, I got the opportunity to spar a lot of small fighters.

The Ammies, and lower tier guys just were not big enough to put a dent with gloves, but I know some smaller guys that are/ were high calibre, and they could hurt almost anyone with a clean punch with gloveless fist. You also need a hand full of sand to land anything on them.

Any trained Boxer would beat the brakes off of an Average Joe. Period. A jab, straight, and a keen understanding of what it took to land a punch would be more than 99% of "street fighters" could deal with. So figuring he had sense not to "take a fight too far out of his division"? All Boxers would be good to have with you in a street fight. If he is considered a decent prospect? He can probably whip anyone you know.

A Boxer without gloves and a fast jab would slice your face up and have you looking like bologna smothered in ketchup. Lord help you if he was the rough close quarters type.

Most street/bar/club fights I've seen involved people sloppily and unskillfully throwing wild shots and showing horrible balance and technique. Some of them I've seen have been absolutely laughable.

Professionals are used to seeing punches come at them and what to do. I'd pick Paulie Malignaggi or Cory Spinks (who apparently used to get into a lot of scraps in St. Louis ghettos) over most men bigger than them.

You are seriously deluded if you think you can take any decent professional fighter from WW and up on and win. SERIOUSLY, SERIOUSLY deluded. I think it's called DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR...look it up :yep
