Which boxers would be the worst street fighters?

Good for you. A person who has amateur boxing skill would not be in the 'average street fighter' category. Doesn't matter what your weight is. A professional welterweight could KTFO a 200+ man who has average street fighting skill. Chin's don't have muscle. You said "any normal size man with a little grit to him cound grab floyds little ass and make him cry", didn't hear anything about amateur boxing experience in that sentence. And no, I'm not a midget sorry. I'm actually quite well built.

 

I'm pretty sure most fighters, even the feather-fisted ones or runners, would do serious damage in street fights.

Paulie Malignaggi would probably knock the average guy cold or completely disoriented with a good shot or 2.

 

usually the little guys actually beleive that a welterweight could woop any man gives them some kind of macho feeling but in reality the 100th ranked heavyweight could destroy the best welter weight with ease in a street fight ring it doesnt matter. pound for pound is mythical.

I see nothing about amateur or professional boxing skill in that sentence. Size matters amongst people with skill. When it comes to some of the best welterweights in the world vs an average guy on the street, skill can easily trump size. Skill trumps size OFTEN in professional boxing as well. If two professionals fight and one outweighs the other by 60+ pounds however as in the case of a welterweight vs a heavyweight, obviously that makes a difference.

 

have y all heard about jose luis zertuche? he's from where im from, the great city of leon gto. anyway, once he got drunk in the club and he knocked out 7 bouncers. i went to the club where it happened and the bouncers were all pretty big guys, all 6 feet tall at least. a professional boxer will **** up a regular dude.

While I think almost all boxers would do well in a street fight, if I had to pick the worst one, I would pick Malignaggi.

 

FMJ would be **** in a street fight. Id be happy to have someone like Maidana by my side in a bar brawl...
