I'd love to see Wlad in MMA - He'd be terrible. Explosive? No. Scared to fight? Yes. Petrified of throwing anything other than a 1-2? Yes. Shaky chin? Yes. He'd do as well as Tim Sylvia.
Tim Sylvia was the UFC champion. So yeah I could see a Klitschko type winning the belt just like big Timmy.
Yeah, in the weakest era of the last 15 years. If you could see Wlad becoming a champion, you have no idea about fighting.
You used Tim Sylvia as an example of a bad athlete and he was actually a real champ in MMA. You just made the entire point against yourself. Dont try to back track now with weak era nonsense.
I'm not backtracking. I'm also not deluded enough to think that a Boxer with minimal experience would do anything of note. Look at the top 3 Boxers in the pro game: May, Ward & Rigo. Their styles of fighting are ALL wrong for MMA.
Look at the thread title and look at some of the replies BEFORE I answered. 'Give a Boxer a few months to figure it out and he'd clean up', I can't believe people still think like this. Many weapons > One weapon.
What about the boxers with extensive wrestling backgrounds? You dont want to mention them because your whole argument about mma fighters being freak athletes goes down the drain.
Like who? Lennox Lewis, the man who got taken down by Mike Tyson?! Kermit Cintron, the man who everyone believes would kill everyone in MMA? Oh yeah, like he could just learn Wrestling again after not doing it for many years. You CLEARLY have an agenda against MMA (I saw your reply in the Jones/DC thread) and you seem insecure that Boxers aren't the baddest men on the planet. :hi::hi:
Your argument was completely shut down when you pointed out Tim Sylvia as a bad athlete yet he was a UFC champion.
