The great Roger Mayweather. I met him and he was a gentlemen. Had time for everyone. God bless him. For me he was the most prestigious trainer I'd ever crossed paths with.
Don Turner The man that started Ken Norton in Boxing when he was in the Marines. Forgot his name right now. Al “Hollywood” Meggett
Haven`t met any but I was in Terry Lawless`s gym in 1989, a boxer called WO. Wison was training for a southern area title match v Andy Till and was using Terry`s gym to train for that fight, Wilson was a close friend of my family and took me to that gym to watch him train after I had been rude to my mother in our kitchen in front of him, Lawless gave me a dirty look after he caught me looking at him, I was 12 years old at the time, met Nigel Benn that same year too at the fight between Till and Wilson, Till won by shutout.
Lou Duva. Met him the day before Bramble/Mancini 2, he stepped into my hotel elevator. I asked him if Bramble was ready and he said "yup".
