Which brit commentator is the bigger insult to boxing?

    We all know they suck at what they do the most,but which ones tops it?

    Duke McKenzie:''His legs have gone.I'm telling ya Jim,his legs are gone.He is out of it!''

    Where are the days of good commentators(not british offcourse)?Lampley and the others aren't great either but they sure are better tha nthese jokers.

    Some of them are awful, right enough. I always liked Ian Darke though, if only for his ability to make a meal out of everything. It gets repetitive, but I have a soft spot for him.

    They are all pretty awful so it is difficult to choose.

    Jim Watt gets my vote for being the most irritating.

    i havent seen manny fights whit those comentators but from those ive seen i would pick Watt mostly cause hes a huge Morales nutthugger,in the Morales-Pacquiao I and Morales-Barrera III the only thing he talked about was "the quality of Morales punches" and ignoring any punch the other guys landed.

    ****** is definetely one of the worsei in the bunch,his hard knocks commentating along with that drunk Liverpool supporter face makes him hard to take serious.

    Yes,I remeber that,obviously he picked Morales to win all three fights.

    I think Ian Darke is an excellent commentator - though he can get a little over-excited.

    That is how Sky want the commentators to be - notice how they are always nuthugging someone.

    By far the worst is Adam Smith.... he does Friday Fight Night usually for the smaller fights (Darke does the major ones) - annoying voice, knows nothing.

    He describes a closeish fight as a one-sided Floyd vs Chico style beating if the house fighter is on top...... if the house fighter is receiving a beating you would think you were watching Hagler vs Leonard!

    Who were the commentators during John Duddy's European fights and Irish Ropes days? Those guys annoyed me to no end (and still do, since those fights are on tv constantly here).

    "He's down! Duddy has his man dow... oh, it was a slip. A slip, only, but, nevertheless, it served its purpose!" That and them always calling him a "Derriere."

    Oh, and my favorite Lennox comment is definitely :D "Hellooooooo!"

    Lay of Duke McKensie man he brings real insight and intelligence to boxing commentary. He knows his stuff he was a 3 weight world champ.
