Which british boxers do people actually like???

    All i ever read on these forums is Khan is over rated and has hand picked opponents, jc also hand picked opponents or fought old men, ricky hatton hasnt ducked anybody but still gets slated for getting beat by pbf, and now before there pro debut "the olympians" are being ripped into!!! and then there fury who to me looks like a fair talent but is talking himself up, but isnt that just boxing?? ypu dont hear many young pros saying hopefully if all goes well i may win a commenwealth title!!


    so is there any sucessfull british fighters you like??

    I will support most british fighters and hope there careers are sucessfull, but i can understand how people have favourites, but on here everyone seems to hate everyone!!

    I disagree.

    People are up the ass of British fighters in this section of the forum. Not that theres anything wrong with that, its expected, but when you have people thinking Hatton can beat Cotto you know you are in the Brit forum.

    Theres tons of tit for tat, usual pish.

    Im still trying hard to think of a fighter i dislike for boxing attributes or out of the ring wrongness. I cant. Same goes for all fighters outwith the U.K.

    As you said TFFP, the manlove here can be way OTT. Same goes for the hate and disrespect.

    i like joe calzaghe,Hatton and i dont mind Haye.I like watching Kevin Mitchell,Jon thaxton .i did find it funny as **** weh khan was ko'd last year,the reason i found it funny was because he was telling everyone he could be pacman.

    John murray, he does it the old school way, loads of respect for him, just dont think he's a world beater though he gets dragged into a fight too much and wont be able to do it on world level

    paul trusket seems a good kid too, shame he hasnt got power with his skill. both only pretty young, and kell brooke as well although i want to see him tested better

    I like all of em, that's just the way I am I guess, and I most certainly support British fighters against foreign opposition

    Some of the haters on here frighten me with their psychotic rantings... it's genuinely wrong, they take it so personally... very unhealthy

    I don't believe you see much OTT praise of our fighters around here, certainly not on the level of the hate

    I'm a fan of all of them really, especially against fighters from elsewhere in the world. But there's also nothing wrong with a little criticism of the fighters because some of them definately deserve it. I have to admit the hate can get a little out of hand sometimes though.

    I am a fan of all British fighters, although there are some I like more than others like Haye, Brook, Munroe, Rhodes and Mitchell.

    Although I have to admit I wanted Amir Khan to be knocked out by Prescott, although I thought it was just wishful thinking!
