Hamed beat a greater number of good/very good fighters, and on a more consistent basis than Hatton - Naz has a stronger and deeper overall resume of wins. Getting brutally KTFO by FMJ and Pac doesn't enhance Hatton's 'resume'. Although Hatton's win against Tszyu is better than Hamed's best win. After that, Hatton's resume drops off a cliff.
So who the **** was that wearing Hattons shorts that just got knocked out by a former featherweight Tzyu was a long puncher , Hatton got on his chest and smothered him ( the right tactic ) and Hatton was absolutley at his peak that night. Hattons utter disdain for defence against a guy as fast and powerful as Hamed.........well you've already seen what happens. Oh and "fail" I didn't realise you were a 13 year old girl :huh
I think the argument that Hatton's 'legacy' is better is based largely on his mainstream popularity. Which is fair enough. But what people forget is, that Hamed was basically the blueprint for that kind of success. He was the kind of fighter who non-boxing fans paid to see. If you want to judge this based solely on achivement inside the ring, I think Hamed clearly has a better legacy, he achieved more at an earlier stage in his career. He was more dominant in a stronger division and he has a better resume of wins.
