    Sorry. I like Everton. The Hull loss was kinda funny though. Still it could be worse, you could be getting ready to replay a mighty weeken of football that last year left you losing to Histon. Leeds vs Kettering on ITV this weekend, not sure if I dare watch.



    Matthew Hatton must have earned quite a bit from having less talent than most Brits in his division.

    why shouldnt they be allowed to fight?

    they obviosuly love boxing and it makes some money for them?

    If we didnt have them how would fighters learn etc.. there would be about only 1/100th of the fights taking place now if there were no journeyman than compared if there was.

    I kinda agree with the OP's point regarding journeymen.

    If they come to win, then fine...... but some just come to run away for four rounds, not get stopped, so they can do the whole thing over again the week after.

    The prospect learns absolutely **** all.

    If you are going to play, play to win after all. I don't understand the mentality of turning up to get beat every week..... it's a bit like prostitution :lol:

    there are really no jouneymen in mma, and back in the 1940 and 1930's and even early 1950's there were very few journeymen, which is why very few fighters were unbeaten cos the best tuck on the best, weather it was a 7 and 0 vs a 9 and 0, they met, none of this beating on journeymen for there first 15 fights like it is now. And i stand by whtat i said half of these journeymen shouldnt be fighting after what happen to howard clarke. :hi:

    They aren't really putting their health at risk really. Well, most of them aren't because they just get on the bike and take two or three shots per round.

    Some obviously get outmatched, but the referees rescue them soon enough.

    but there was journeymen in the 30-50s, your joking me right that there wasnt any? course there was, just you wont have heard of them as they are forgotten. :patsch:patsch You think in 40-50 years time people will remember Matt Scriven?
