I was thinking to myself. The people who you expected big things from and they let you down.

I was thinking of a few

Audley Harrison I expected him to win a world title when he turned professional

Kevin Mitchell Just padded his record when his chance came along he blew it

Im sure some of you will have loads

    Colin McMillan.

I really thought he was the bollocks but it kinda didn't work out like that.

I really thought Audley could do it against David Haye.

McMillan didn't do that bad and it was injuries what did him in.

I know mate but the first time I saw him box I jumped all over him like he was Englands answer to Pernell Whitaker. My expectations shot through the roof.

He never boxed again after the Laing fight. Over 30 straight wins at one time too but I was never sold on him.

Yep, i guess it all depends on those levels of expectation. I just wouldn't describe him as a "let down" though.

Nah, you're right, I mentioned him solely down to my own personal expectations.

If ricky hatton didnt have a lack of discipline.... he would of beaten mayweather and pacqiuao imo.... let me down!
Naz couldve gone up and up if he had the motivation! he wouldve cleaned out a few divisions without a doubt

Junior Witter but then again hatton never gave him the fight he deserved and the British public wanted to see would of been a interesting one. Pele Reid was also a let down.
