I was really high on Chris Okoh; Colin McMillan was a cannot miss superstar; I thought Jess Harding was doing over Mason; everyone was going on about McCullough, but Michael Carruth won a gold medal, he was going to be the class of 92; Richard Evatt was clearly a future world champ...

I was not quite sold on George, I think I figured Jacobs would be too good for him; but (brother) Tony, he was the real deal!:scaredas:

To be fair, Tony turned pro too young, and burnt out quick, fighting too many wars, too soon.

Hatton was never beating either of those, he could have prolonged his career though and gotten some more good victories.

Naz was never gonna beat the likes of Morales, Barrera, JMM or Pac. He didn't have the style to beat the truly elite guys.

I think quite a few of us were just waiting for George to step up and get KO'd. Hats off to him though, he did take his lumps against Jacobs and Laing, he was limited but there was no quit in him.

Kevin Mitchell. Not just the fact he was outclassed by Katsidis, but the way he dealt with it by goin missing

Laing, like always, cost the punters a fortune in that fight. Whenever he was seemingly on the verge retirement, he would put in the sort of classy performance you figured he did not have left in him.

Then he would lose to some journeyman.

George like you said was a honest fighter, the ultimate Warren fighter, he was what 35-0, and not even fighting 10 rounders, and yet was thrown in with prime Jacobs, and granted a seemingly shot Laing. Both brothers were poorly matched.

Bit early to be saying that, Laz. It's more Fat Mick that's disappointed me, although I should have expected it. Let's hope he gets and wins the big fights this year, but I don't fancy his chances on both fronts.

    Ian Napa, to an extent.

    Biggest one recently is Mitchell.

    Bull****.

Hatton is not in the same Universe as Pac or Floyd in regards to boxing ability.
