Who knows who could beat him if he fought in another fighters back yard. Points deducted for fowls/ cheating and the fear of disqualification? He might even be in an entertaining fight!

DeGale might give Ward problems with his unorthodox southpaw style. I would still favour Ward though. Although his style of boxing bores me to tears, it is effective and hard to beat.

He's very effective at what he does but will always struggle to win fans due to the boring style, i honestly think Froch beats him in England, Ward is excellent but he's not unbeatable, i also don't think you can be inactive as often & as long as Ward has without losing something

    Disagree here.

I felt he ran out of ideas very often against Groves, if he was so versatile he would have come up with a more effective answer? I'd say that was a fair point.

Groves has shown he can box on both the back foot and going forward.

Froch, well he's just Froch... he does what he does.

I was thinking froch may have a chance in the UK too, think a ref who pulls ward up on his spoiling tactics could have an effect, and with a pro froch crowd, this could make a difference with the ref.

He finished the first ward fight strong, two of the judges had the fight 115-113, so in theory he only needs to turn around 2 rounds to win a decision

Put Froch into a neutral ring with a neutral referee, judges, boxing commission and he would kick SOB Ward's arse....................

DeGale has the best style to beat him.
