Which broadcaster getting May-Pac would've best for boxing?

    It depends on who is in charge of BBC Sport to be honest- boxing is rather good value as a sport if rights fees are low. Unfortunately boxing also has issues with pull outs and politics that ultimately makes it difficult to commit to for the terrestrial channels.

    True the current BBC bunch will not touch boxing with a barge poll,not a politically correct sport.

    The sad thing is used to really enjoy their coverage of big live fights as well as Sportsnight showing live & recorded action from Wembley,Royal Albert Hall etc.

    Mainstream media don't give boxing much attention, if Boxnation suddenly had a huge surge in subscriber numbers due to Mayweather v Pacquiao, along with providing the amount of international fights it does, it could raise awareness of the sport, and perhaps turn a lot of casuals into hardcores.
