I personally believe that the Rafael and Juan Manuel are more impressive than the Klit's

the klit fan boys will tell you a different story....but this era for heavies is horrendous, so the K bros. get little credit from me, resume wise...

This is true. LL was the last legit heavy other than the Klitschkos. The rest of the division wouldn't make a Top TWENTY in previous decades, Holyfield is a shadow of his former self and there have been flashes in the plan (RJJ, Toney, Haye) that could've made noise to make the division exciting, but never did.

The smaller fighters always have an advantage P4P because they can move up in weight. Heavies can't, so their P4P rep is either at the mercy of having good competition, or basically obliterating all opposition by impressive, brutal KO almost every time out.

Last heavies I can remember being P4P were Tyson, Holyfield, and Lewis.

Remember, Holyfield was undisputed at cruiser before moving up, so he had the luxury of moving up a weight. If Haye or Adamek were to win a belt, they would deserve consideration too. But I doubt that's happening, due to Haye's inactivity and Adamek topping out at carrying 200 pounds around and still being effective. But you never know.

    Yeah, and?

Does that make wins over Gomez, Peter, and Chagaev suddenly better than wins over Vazquez, Barrera, Diaz, Casamayor?

Dont make me laugh. The fact that the other heavies aren't up to the task is utterly irrelevant, it does not make their resume's equal to the Marquez brothers by default. What utter pish.

The Klitschko brothers combined, have only even faced one truly elite fighter in their careers, and lost the fight.

Shall we compare that to the Marquez bro's or perhaps we should leave this moronic debate there....

No hate against the Klits but i'll go with the Marquez's bros on this, based on other greats faces and epic fights they've given us.

    Great point!

I'd go for the Marquez brothers, but I also agree that the Klitchko's should be commended because they are making the best of the relatively weak division. They're collectively taking on all comers and dispatching them pretty efficiently (if not excitingly)
