No but you always bang on about the quality of those opponents
As you say he can only beat what is in front of him

And before you bring up him dodging Kabayel etc, think carefully about Flloyds career

There was a lot more in the division than just Joshua, Dubois and Fury though. The quality of the division has nothing to do with him not fighting more opponents

I don't recall Floyd wasting time on pointless rematches

Floyd firstly was always the A side and dictated terms, Uysk wasn't and as you've been informed before had little choice to sign such contracts with Fury and AJ if he wanted to achieve his goals
    Big difference

And Floyd could have fought more people than he did too, in fact thats criticism we can label at any champion if we want to be petty

After beating Joshua Usyk held all the cards and could fight whoever he wanted. The notion that anyone could force him into rematches or force him to fight once a year is insane.

It also doesn't address his inactivity prior to fighting Joshua

    You just don't get it

After beating AJ, contractually he was required to fight AJ again
That's a legally binding contract that was signed before the forest fight took place
Sure he could have refused it but why?, he'll be sued and dragged through the courts
The rematch clause also came with the potential second fight earnings which is a tactic many promoters use to convince opposition fighters to go for the deal

The offer made to Uysk to fight AJ on a one fight deal was pretty poor and Hearn even hinted at dropping the belt Uysk was mandatory for thus taking away the cash cow type payday Uysk has the opportunity to get (it's whst5all boxers strive for)

Pretty much the same scenario occurred with Fury
Uysk was in no position to bargain
Go back and look at Fury's demands etc and you'll see Uysk accepted a far lesser purse just to fight for undisputed

And was He inactive before fighting AJ?
I don't think he was as he got used to the weight against Chaz Witherspoon and then fought Chisora in Eddie Hearns garden

    Open your eyes
Being a champion doesn't mean you "hold all the cards"

I truly don't think Floyd is to blame for "zero culture". A lot of fighters took those wink wink eliminators in the 2000s and got totally screwed. A lot of fighters took fights they were likely to lose lost and were never taken seriously again. Fighters saw this and they adjusted. Just look at Spence. One threads saying Spence isn't a Hall of Famer another one saying "why did people think Spence was good".

Floyd's ducking was very different cause he was pursuing retirement with an undefeated record as a multi division champ. Most of the avoidance we see is guys who are trying to get a title shot or who got a belt but aren't the best in the division and want to maximize their time with the belt. But once champions are "big names" most of them usually cash out and take a fight/fights where they are the B side.

Fury destroyed the HW division. While Usyk, Wilder and Joshua's conduct has been horrific you can trace all their sins back to Fury because Wilder and AJ were waiting to see if Fury was coming back or not. Fury's situation after Klitschko is what led to everything. If a normal person beat Klitschko, Wilder, Joshua and Usyk might have done everything by the book. Like look at Usyk v Rico and Joshua v Paul. No way in hell Usyk does that fight if Fury doesn't fight Ngannou.

Fury didn't hold any cards because Usyk could fight whoever he wanted given he held the majority of the belts.
If Fury doesn't agree to his terms he could just fight someone else-Wilder, Miller, Zhang, Parker, etc

At that point Wilder was still a big draw and a fight would have made lots of money

Wilder revived the heavyweight division in America to some extent and gave us knockouts and a memorable trilogy even if he lost all 3 fights.

Most of the main faults of Wilder's career just come down to his limitations as a fighter and Al Haymon thinking he could manufacture another Floyd without actually having his fighters beat the guy to become the guy. They thought they could fool the public but no one bought it. And Haymon is the fault of Mayweather. Thats the real damage Floyd did.

100% mayweather. Look at how all the current generation of American boxers don't want to fight each other just to protect their 0. On top of that, a plethora of them are emulating the defensive boxing style that casuals don't enjoy. At least wilder gave us fun fights. Fury vs wilder 3 is the best heavyweight fight I've seen in the 21st century.
