    Not necessary would, but could:

Wladimir Klitschko: We already saw it. It was a 50/50 fight from start to end. It was an early stoppage and Joshua seemed once again a bit gassed. But I dont think that Wlad would have knocked him out in the 12'th.. Stamina it's not just based of punches thrown. A knockdown can empty your gastank just aswell and make you weak. A prime Klitschko would have had faster hands and reactions also better stamina on top of that. But then again, this was AJ's first real test. He came in too heavy and now he is about to fix it against Parker. Also AJ learned alot from the Klitschko fight going forward. I'm thinking that AJ on March 31'st is going to show his best. This is the start of AJ's prime. 50/50.

Vitali Klitschko: could take him to deep waters and knock him out late rounds. But I see him get outboxed, especially outjabbed with a bloody eye. Not as good defense as Wlad, and even worse eyebrow bone structure on top of that. He doesnt have the dynamite as Wlad, and we all saw that he was almost knocked down by Sanders, Atleast I count that as a knockdown. So he is not as granite chinned as believed. But a little tougher than Wlad. Especially better stamina and pacing than Wlad. 70/30 AJ.

Lennox Lewis: slower feet than Wlad, a bit stationary, good jab and decent inside game but no size advantage this time. Picking AJ by KO. 75/25 AJ.

Tyson Fury: Great movement, great defense, good stamina. 55/45 Fury.

Some others have a punchers chance.

    That's about it...

Ask yourself how many fighters in 18/20 fights would've beat him if he had the reverse number of fights you guys nit pick when they were in their primes ? :icon_popcorn:

I think so. Bigger and stronger athlete. Faster hands inside.

I have it like this on my all time list: Fury>Joshua=Wladimir>Lewis>Vitali.

A motivated Lewis - which he would be for the threat of Joshua - shows up and gives Joshua a boxing lesson on the way to a KO loss.

If Joshua was a fighter in the 90s i'd expect him to pick up a number of high profile losses.

Nostalgic biased. heavyweights were smaller and weaker in that era with a few exceptions like Lewis and Bowe which thrived in that environment by bullying smaller men.

    DEFINITELY BEAT JOSHUA

Wlad - Old Wlad took him to the brink, prime KO's him.
Vitali - Too big, too durable, too busy, too skilled.
Lewis - Lewis is better at almost everything, Joshua is out of his depth here.
Ali - Too much speed and movement, Savon out boxed Joshua with ease, Ali dances around Joshua to win a UD or stops a tired Joshua late.
Fury - Too big, too agile, movement again kills Joshua.

HAVE A DECENT CHANCE TO BEAT HIM

Holyfield - outworks him and makes him gas, Joshua hasn't shown the boxing skills yet to deal with the pressure he can bring and Holyfield simply too durable to blow away.
Tyson - Joshua trades too much and so Tyson overwhelms him, Joshua gets out monstered by the real baddest man on the planet.
Holmes - Good enough to out box him, durable enough to take his best shots, Joshua hasn't proven he can deal with skills on this level yet.

    OUTSIDE OR PUNCHERS CHANCE

Bowe - Bowe hits hard and sets a good pace, but he also is easy to hit, might come down to who lands first and I think Joshua has better defence. Longer the fight goes the better for Bowe, no way Joshua can stand the pace and pressure Bowe exerts on opponents. Joshua will need a quick KO to win.
Foreman - Foreman often manhandles opponents he gets manhandled here. He has a very good punchers chance though. His body attack alone might be too much for Joshua who would gas quickly. If Joshua tries and trade he gets KO'ed.

Wlad, Vitali, and Lewis for sure, would beat current Joshua (250lbs). I suppose we'll have to wait until Joshua retires to know what the best version of him is.

I used to watch Lewis train in REAL time, with limited number of ppl in the gym around him BC I knew the gym owner..this was before Lewis fought Ruddock...I can tell you Joshua IS more talented and would be favored over him whether they believe it or not.

All he has too do now is put everything together and you will see in his next fight how easily he wins...he will go undefeated for awhile..the other fighters aren't even close to his level!

What so there’s no way Furey gets KOd by that uppercut?think about it as good as Furey is that shot of Joshua’s is such a beautiful thing to watch and for someone who gets stick on here I can’t think of any AJ knockout where he hasn’t kept his shape,Whyte uppercut,Martin KO and Wlad uppercut are sweet as they get.

Joshua's my favourite heavyweight at the moment, but if we're talking about a prime Lewis, and Joshua, as he is now, I feel that he's to heavy.

I'm aware that, regardless of his position in the division, he's still green when it comes to certain aspects of the game, namely his ideal weight. Joshua at 240 is a different animal, with greater movement, and punch speed.

But again, at 250+ I think Lewis would use his jab to great effect, and catch Joshua with something big when he comes in.
