Which champions would you favor to beat a prime holyfield

    I think evander is a gold standard of a champion that you could make a case for beating anybody else, I do think personally a prime Ali or Holmes could beat him, evander like Louis was great against punchers but i think he would struggle against a fleet footed boxer with plenty of ring smarts, a better jab, and couldnt knock out.

    Riddick Bowe....

    Ali, Holmes, Wlad, Lewis, Tyson, Louis, Walcott, Liston and Foreman

    50-50s with Frazier, Ezzard, Vitali and Johnson

    That really hurt typing, because I love Holyfield but I think his tendancy to brawl and him not being an ATG boxer causes him to lose matches he could be winning

    He is my 4th favorite fighter of all time. That being said I feel his tendency to brawl when he was outmatched would be his downfall. I have him losing to Ali, Louis, Liston, Foreman, Frazier, Dempsey, and possibly others.

    Ali Louis Marciano Foreman Holmes Dempsey

    Those are the ones I'd consistently favor over him confidently. Less confidently I could see Lewis, Frazier, Liston, maybe Walcott

    A lot of people could beat Holyfield, but the reverse is also true. I don't see any single champion in history "easily" beating him, and if they're a step off their game they are going to lose. I just rewatched the Tyson/Holyfield fight and Evander was a beast when he put his mind to it.

    I don't think peak Holyfield is an easy fight for anyone, but I'd slightly favor Ali, Foreman, Liston, Louis, Lewis, Tyson, Holmes, Frazier, Jack Johnson and possibly Dempsey, but he could upset any one of them and I would only really be surprised if he beat Ali or Holmes.
