This isn't the name "every white or bi-racial heavyweight belt holder that comes to your mind" thread...

You also forgot Oleg. Also Morrison held some worthless strap

I would actually give him a shot at beating prime Foreman. Foreman faced 2 skilled boxer movers in his prime and lost them both.

He outright has to be favoured against Dempsey, Dempsey is easier to outbox technically than Tyson and he's smaller/weaker/chinier

For ****'s sake you people forget I'm a founding father of the Valuev Express movement.

Remember when I boldy picked Valuev to destroy prime Tyson? Nobody else except me and Boxed Ears had our eyes open to the truth.

Wouldn't call Foreman of Young fight completely prime.

    Buster has a shot.

But Foreman wasn't that bad at cutting off the ring and what would happen when he lands on Douglas?

Do you think Foreman would get dicouraged enough not to mount any serious offence?

Once Foreman had lost he was never "peak" again. The aura had gone, not only for the public but also inside Foreman himself.

His movement and jab would cause Lewis some problems if Douglas was able to weather any storms from Lewis.

i question how douglas would respond to real pressure and adaptation.
everyone, myself included, seems to be answering based solely on douglas' visible skills that night.
historically though, he didn't handle pressure and persistance all that well. tyson never truly pushed douglas or forced him to dig deep.

What happens when one of the greats does? DOes douglas stay focused and continue to use his skills or does he crumble? SKills or not, I question his heart in a long, hard 15 round war

I agree with all,but Ibeabuchi. I'm not saying that he would have been a sure thing to have beaten Douglas, but he was very much an unproven quantity.

Wouldn't call a fighter who knocked out future champ and slugged with prime Tua totally unproven.

He would beat most or all of the weaker lineal champions.

He could beat some midle of the pack guys, depending on styles.

The stronger lineal champions would all beat him on their best day.
