Why is he always forgotten when it comes to undefeated champs/titlists, even the Ring has forgotten him on two occaisons, even though they remembered some asian fighter from the early 80's :huh

Don't know why really, but he was pretty forgettable as a fighter. People remember him more for his alleged involvement in the shooting of Warren than his ability in the ring.

Because boxing quite rightly would like to wipe him out of their history, he was not the nicest person to ever step in the ring; ask Frank Warren... allegedly;)

Jimmy Carruthers retired as undefeated Bantamweight champion but made an unsuccessful comeback seven years later and it was goodbye to his 0,so I don't know if he counts.

Paul Spadafora retired undefeated, but returned to the ring again. Still undefeated though.

A few more, depending on the definition of "champ": Sven Ottke, Ricardo Lopez, Harry Simon (although, evidently, he's come out of retirement), Ji Won Kim

Being an undefeated alphabet champion is a verry small acolade compared to being an undefeated lineal champion.
